The event coincides with the closing ceremony for the Space Odyssey Institute course: Niche Opportunities in Space Exploration

Last Thursday, July 17, the closing ceremony took place for the Space Odyssey Institute course SOI08: Niche Opportunities in Space Exploration at the Galactic Suite headquarters in Barcelona. The course had been held over twelve days in the city within the framework of the ISU (International Space University) course programme.

During the ceremony organised by the space tourism company Galactic Suite, ISU deacon Walter Peeters presented certificates to the students who had attended the course between July 6 and July 17.

ISU president Michael Simpson expressed his thanks for the ceremony and spoke about the Galactic Suite project. Simpson stressed the importance of such initiatives in promoting the aerospace sector.  Galactic Suite’s founder and Managing Director, Xavier Claramunt, then stated that any dream can become a reality if it is based on hard work and enthusiasm.

The ceremony was attended by government representatives, professionals from the aerospace industry and ISU students and lecturers.
